About Us, the Jawer.org Group

04/12/2006
By Peter McHirnly, Elizabeth Horner, Janor Knicke

The Jawer.org group is a collective of web designers, programmers, and IT professionals that act in the fashion of a communications group. After the Jawer language was formalized in 2006, some of the initial lingusts in the project put considerable time into documenting the language and it's nomenclature.

As time progressed, and people began to use the Jawer language more frequently, it was decided that a central website for general news, communications, and public relations should be built. Thus, the plan for creating a very simple, yet informative, website, Jawer.org, was born.

Looking forward, the Jawer.org group continues to coalesce and act as a informational resource, fielding questions from the general public and those who are interested in the language. Although there is no official dictionary at this time, a work by Yunil Weih is planned to explain Jawer in more detail, with specific pronunciation keys, diagrams, and a complete list of experts for personal consultation.

As always, Jawer.org officials can be contact via the new public Gmail address: jawerest@gmail.com.
